GB7 Minutes 11-26-09
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm. Present were Verne, Bill, Lori, James, Rob, Erick, and by phone Scott. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read with no decent. There being no officer or committee reports the only committee without a chairperson (Business Affairs) was given to Bill Short. The meeting then proceeded to Chapter and Guild reports. Gamers of the Apocalypse, Hangman, MLC, Rising Phoenix, and Southern Dragons had no report. Outer Rim had members attend at Wolf Con, Pentacon, U-Con, and other Cons since Gen Con. In addition they have many ongoing campaigns and gaming at Verne’s home. Wolpack reported that they were attempting to have game days at the same location as Wolf Con. More details would be available at the next meeting. In addition The Story Guild has been disbanded. They no longer seem to want to be part of GB7 and made their own Gen Con Deal. It was suggested that a Convention Calendar be added to the Web Site. Verne stated that he would do this. All members are encouraged to go to the Web Site and access the calendar. Three Items were discussed under Old Business. The first was making a list of member benefits. All board members were to make their own list so a full list could be discussed at the next meeting. The second was to have the club have better relations with other gaming clubs, vendors, and companies. The third was to get dice bags and throws with the GB7 logo to be used at conventions. Verne said that he would contact Jeff Stein to get a price. Bill Short was asked to contact Bill Murray to get a permit for the next club picnic. Also Bill Short in March will be going to |
