Just a reminder to mark down Saturday July 10, 2010 in your calendars. Game Base 7 will be hosting its annual Picnic / Game day at Harms Woods in Skokie, IL. We will also be attempting to have a General Membership Meeting. We need 20% of the membership to show for that to happen. The picnic is open to all members, their families and friends. GB7 will be providing some limited food and refreshments such as Soda, Hotdogs, Hamburgers, and chicken. We ask that you bring something to share with everyone as well.
If you want suggestions as to what to bring feel free to contact me. We will be in need of a number of items such as paper plates, napkins, utensils, cups, grill, cooking gear, etc. I will post a more extensive list on the yahoo site and the website. I would also suggest that you bring chairs, blankets, and any other food or items that you might want for
yourself.
We will have a shelter where we are planning on running board games but if someone wants to organize more physical activities such as a softball game or soccer game let me know. The idea is to get together as a club and have some fun so I hope everyone will try to attend if possible.

Sad News for members of GB7

The current President of Gamebase 7 Verne Wetherholt passed away June 15thin his sleep. He is survived by his wife Karen and their three daughters, Kristin, Amber and Heather. There will be a memorial service on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Wheaton Warrenville South High School , 1993 Tiger Trail Wheaton , IL 60189 {at the corner of Butterfild Rd & Wiesbrook Rd.}
